Move Freely again : Each workshop will address specific parts of the body to relieve pain and reduce stress.

This eight week workshop series begins Saturday, July 10th 1-2:30 PM ET.

Each workshop is 90 minutes. $35 for each or $195 for all 8 workshops.

WORKSHOP DATES & TOPICS

July 10 – Discover you leg joints and how foundational they are to supporting your whole body. Enjoy the back on the ball to lengthen the lower spine as well as movements off the ball to develop your own routine each day. Excellent for relieving tight lower back muscles.

July 17  Relieve tight hip joints by using leg rotation. Discover how your legs lengthen your lower spine and keep you upright through a unique rotation. Get stronger without stiffness. Breathing and standing movements for daily hip routines to use at home.

July 24 – Knees and hips is a compliment to hips on the balls and how to take the pressure off the knees. The leg connection we develop through the torso help us to take the pressure off the knees. Leg stretches incorporated as well as breathing in every workshop.

July 31 – Two feet firmly on the ground!  You cannot move the feet enough. They get stood on, ankles weaken, and they are not feeling the push and pull against the floor so the rest of the body can benefit. Begin to use your whole body as a result of feeling how you can use your feet on the ball both while lying down and standing. A must for anyone who wants to feel limber throughout their body. Breathing and Whole Body stretching in included.

August 7 – Computers, driving, chronic stress, rushing the world is filled with tight neck and shoulders. The expression carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders can not be more appropriate. Learn how the shoulders are preventing us from breathing. By understanding how to free the shoulders the entire length of the spine will improve.

August 14 – The mysterious and miraculous ribcage. Probably my favorite part of the body to explore. Most of us misinterpret the shoulders for ribcage. Without making the distinction between the 2 the lower back hips and knees suffer. Exploring how your ribs can move will be something you can take with you for constant improvement in all aspects of sports exercise and freedom of movement. Great for stress relief.

August 21 – Breathing and Whole Body Move: breathing is incorporated into every MBM class. This class is for the adventurous person who if open to a deeper understanding of how individual breath is  and what you can do to interact breath with your movements. Great for healing pain.

August 28 –  MBM off the Floor. We will start with sitting, breathing and ball placements. All of what we do will get us ready for Miracle Ball off the Floor. We will incorporate all the key areas we have been working on in each area into a 15 minute routine sitting standing and lying down. This will twist and turn, mend and reach you in all directions. Oppositional stretching is highlighted for an overall sense of ease in movement.
